2026-27 D4 Board

Board members are volunteers who serve our schools in OMEA District 4. We welcome anyone interested in serving on our board to reach out to chair@omead4.com to discuss board membership.

Job descriptions include:

• Attend all board meetings (or send a representatiave to report and record)

• Attend and assist in event management

• Solicit and secure clinicians/adjudicators for each applicable event.

• 2-year term (option to continue)

• Recruit and train new board members

Any D4 music educator who wants to attend a meeting can do so for PDU credits!

General Meeting Schedule:

Late August -- Prepare for coming year, Fall Inservice is priority

Early October -- Debrief and prepare for Fall Inservice

Mid-January -- Prepare for Solo & Ensemble

Late February -- Final Preparations for Solo & Ensemble

Late March/Early April -- Debrief S&E and prepare for Choral Festivals

Mid-June -- Debrief the year and select Sylvia Perry recipient.
